Event Admission & Ticket Sales: Information & Terms

Event Admission

Please read the following information, terms, and conditions regarding ticket sales, seat reservation, cancellation, and access.

Tickets

Due to the unique venue, only a small number of places are available for each event; tickets are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Tickets may only by purchased by persons over the age of 18 (ticket prices apply to all ages).

Booking is essential, and admission will be via ticket only (a copy of which - or of the ticket number - attendees must bring with them to obtain entry. Mrs. Leach will only reserve seats on receipt of payment, and forward purchased tickets by way of confirmation.

Tickets will be made available via an online box office (which may charge an additional administration fee); or on request to Mrs. Leach: contact via this website; email: antiquarianacademy (at) gmail (dot) com; phone (text only): 07903 237953; or post: Mrs. Leach, 1 West Park Rd., Derby, DE22 1GG, UK.

The 'box office' will open for ticket sales about one month before the date scheduled for the event; but potential attendees may express interest before this time, and will be given first refusal (by receiving text or email notification) of tickets.

'Early bird' tickets may often be purchased for a limited time after ticket sales commence, and will not be available after this time. Other offers may sometimes instead be available: join the mailing list via antiquarianacademy (at) gmail (dot) com; or follow Mrs. Leach on Twitter: @LadyAntiquary; or on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AntiquarianAcademy/ to receive information on offers and events, etc. (Mrs. Leach will not pass on personal information).

Cancellations

If insufficient tickets are sold in order to run events as planned, or if other circumstances (such as illness) dictate postponement, events will be cancelled. In such a situation, Mrs Leach will offer ticket holders a place for the rescheduled event, or a refund, according to their preference. Attendees must therefore provide valid contact details. Refunds are otherwise unavailable.

Entrance and Accessibility

Access to the venue is only permitted at the date and time of events, and only by ticket-holders; Mrs. Leach reserves the right to refuse ticket sales and / or exclude entry. No callers to the venue permitted at any other time.

Young persons (over the age of 12 years) may attend events at the 'Academy' only with a ticket purchased on their behalf by a responsible adult, and if accompanied by a responsible adult ticket-holder.

The 'Academy' venue, as first and foremost a domestic building, has limited access, due to size and arrangement of the rooms; there is one small step into the property; and no toilet facilities. Mrs. Leach will endeavour to enable access to persons with disabilities, where possible.
